A friend of hers said;
“When she got here, she was really, really drunk and she got mad at her other friend and she stormed out.” At the time of her body’s discovery, the temperature was reported as 1 degree below zero with a – 22-degree windchill – the temperature the air feels on human skin....
CCTV captured her walking down the street just before 4:30 a.m. when she collapsed to the ground.Overnight temperatures were near 6 degrees below zero. According to the National Weather Service, skin can freeze within a minute of exposure to windchill temperatures between -20F and -72F.
Tragically, she was seen moving until 7 a.m. – for nearly two and a half hours – but wasn’t discovered until later that morning. There were no obvious signs of external trauma or injury to her body, and she had a blood-alcohol content of 0.40.
Culled.
