Body Of A 25-Year-Old Mechanic Found Dead In Calabar Waste Bin

A 25-year-old mechanic, identified as Okon, has been killed and his lifeless body dumped in a waste bin on White House Street, by Chamley in Calabar South.

Vanguard gathered that Okon, who resides at 25, Webber Street, also in Calabar South, was dumped in the waste bin in the early hours of yesterday, with blood still gushing out from the back of his head and hand. A tenant, who pleaded anonymity, told Vanguard that Okon, who was a mechanic, was allegedly beaten to death Sunday night by some group of boys. According to him, Okon was trying to remove parts from the wreckage of a car abandoned in the area since last year.
